A nutrient rich, exfoliating mask that's good enough to eat!

It's finally starting to feel like fall here in New York, which makes me think of everybody's favorite fall food, pumpkin.

As you may already know from my previous posts, pumpkin is a powerhouse of vitamins, minerals, and antioxidants. As like most healthy foods, pumpkin is a vegetable that is good for us from the inside out.

Here's more regarding the what and the why of the ingredients in this super easy, super yummy mask:

PUMPKIN: high in vitamins Beta Carotene, A, C, & E, all antioxidants that boost the cell turnover of our skin, preventing premature aging. Pumpkin also contains the enzyme "papain" which helps aid in digestion when eating it, but when used in skincare acts as a powerful exfoliant.

HONEY: packed in antioxidants, honey is antibacterial, hydrating, soothing, and great for both preventing and treating acne as well as premature aging.

CINNAMON: A natural antioxidant and antiseptic that helps prevent and treat acne, hydrates, exfoliants, and plumps skin for an overall improved complexion.

NUTMEG: Like cinnamon, a natural antioxidant that prevents and treats acne improving overall complexion.
