Your best fall skincare routine

Just as we swap out our summer dresses for cozy sweaters, our skincare routine also needs a fall makeover. Here are 3 things you can do to get your skin fall ready.

 

 

Expand on exfoliation

Now that we are not spending so much time out in the sun, it’s time to get your exfoliation routine back in the mix. Exfoliate with either a facial scrub or enzyme mask, 2-3 times a week, and always at night. Don’t forget your body too! Try making this DIY body scrub.

 

Add a vitamin serum

If you use a retinol (vitamin A) or a vitamin C serum, now’s the time to add that back into your routine as well. Just as I said with exfoliation, I don’t recommend using products with these ingredients in the summer, as they can make you prone to sun damage.

 

Slather your skin in moisture

Now’s the time to really amp up the hydration! Layer your favorite moisturizer under your favorite face oil. Find a super hydrating body lotion, and drench yourself from neck to toe. Also if you’re washing your hands as much as I am right now, don’t forget to have a fabulous hand cream you can use.
